We are a vibrant and diverse staff with a united vision and purpose!

Surrey Christian School is a PreK-12 school of around 1,100 students located in Surrey, an ethnically diverse urban and suburban community just outside of Vancouver. Our mission statement, “Educating for wholeness by engaging God’s world in the servant way of Jesus,” shapes everything we do. Surrey Christian School is a growing community with a strong staff dedicated to learning that inspires students to become fully alive in God’s story.

As we are a non-denominational Christian school, our enrolled families represent over 170 different churches. Surrey Christian School is governed by a board of directors representing the Surrey Christian School Society membership. The foundation of our Christian faith is grounded in the contemporary testimony, “Our World Belongs to God,” and it is that distinct perspective that shapes our vision. Our confidence in this particular vision of God working in our world has inspired us to open our enrolment to families from other faiths.

Inclusive Education Teacher (part-time)

Successful candidates hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate or an Independent Schools Teaching Certificate (or be eligible), have experience and strong knowledge of the subject matter and instructional strategies, effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to Christian values. They should also align with our mission, vision, and values.

We are accepting applications for both full-time and part-time Education Assistants starting in August 2026.  Join our vibrant and diverse staff who use their unique gifts to serve with passion, competence, and humility.

Out-of-School Care Assistant

We are accepting applications for an Out-of-School Care Assistant starting August 31, 2026. Join our staff of vibrant, diverse, and collaborative educational professionals who are using their unique gifts to serve the Kingdom with passion, competence, and humility.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and dedicated to creating a loving, warm environment. They have the appropriate certification (Assistant or Early Childhood Certification, Responsible Adult, or EA certificate), are at least 19 years old, have up-to-date immunization status, have a valid First Aid certificate, and are committed Christians and in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
