Tamalin began teaching Kindergarten and Grade 1 at SCS in 2015. Since then, she has taken leadership roles in both the Education Support Services Department and as an Assistant Principal. She loves teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs and, ultimately, having them learn they are unique, created in the image of God. She was drawn to SCS by its community of educators who truly care for their students and try to embody being ‘fully alive in Christ.’
Tamalin is the proud mom of two daughters. When not at work, she loves being with her family, taking her dog Charlie on walks, and having coffee with friends.
As Assistant Principal at the Elementary Campus, Tamalin focuses on Grades K-3, leading restorative practices and fostering a positive school culture. She supports teachers through instructional coaching and collaboration, making sure teaching strategies are effective and students are engaged. Tamalin also contributes to decision-making, strategic planning, and addressing student needs through divisional and school-based meetings.
