Patti joined the Surrey Christian School staff in September 2019 being drawn to their purposeful and intentional application of the vision of being “fully alive in God’s story.” She loves, loves, loves being around children and considers it a privilege to lead them to Jesus, and see them flourish as His followers taking their unique place in His kingdom.

Prior to coming to SCS, Patti was the principal at a K-12 Christian school for seventeen years and has taught classes from kindergarten to grade 12. Patti holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Calvin College and a Master of Education from the University of Toronto.

Patti has been married to the love of her life, Dave, for more than thirty years and they were blessed with four children. When not “doing school,” Patti loves to read, watch home improvement programs, and walk their big, goofy black lab!
