Joanne joined the Surrey Christian School staff as Director of Finance in 2016. Prior to that she held progressively senior management and leadership roles in commercial and corporate banking with Canada’s largest banks for 25 years. She holds an MBA in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and a B. Comm in Marketing from UBC. She served on the board of Surrey Christian School for two years, and now as the Director of Finance provides financial support to the school with budgets, long term capital planning and tuition assistance. Her eldest daughter, is a graduate of SCS, her younger daughter, is in Grade 12, they have thrived here. When not working, Joanne enjoys spending time with family, dragon boating, travelling and reading.
