Janice is an alumna of Surrey Christian School. She is also a member of the parent community as the mother of twin girls. As a staff member, Janice has been part of the Surrey Christian School community since 1999. During this time, she has taught various classes from Grade 2 to Grade 12. Janice has held a variety of leadership roles including PHE department head, instructional coach, and divisional leader. She has worked with the international department as a Language Partners Club leader, and she is a Learning Associate for Society of Christian Schools in BC (SCSBC).

Janice’s deep hope as assistant principal of curriculum and instruction is to invite, nurture, and empower our SCS community to become more fully alive in God’s story. She sees each person as a unique reflection of God’s love in the world.

Outside of school, Janice enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
