Beauty in the Brokenness, Art 11 Wabi-Sabi

Art students are working in the theme of how art can bring beauty out of brokenness and partnered with 2 Paycheques Away who works in the downtown eastside. Students embraced this opportunity and the portraits are amazing! Video by SCS student video team

We are creating art on the theme of Wabi-sabi which is a Japanese aesthetic philosophy that embraces the cycle of life and celebrates beauty in imperfection.
