We did it! We made every step count and reached our goal! The total raised to date is $53,000. On behalf of Global Partners, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who walked, donated, and organized this event. It has been a week filled with joy as we observed the various activities taking place throughout the school campuses, seeing the donations come in on our online platform, and witnessing the community coming together for our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone, Africa, and Choluteca, Honduras. Deep gratefulness for each student and staff at SCS. Stride 2021 was a success because of everyone’s involvement and participation. Through your actions, you led by example inviting and showing our K-12 students how beautiful is to care for our global neighbors. Borrowing the words from our 4V class’ storyline, you gave testimony of how we are blessed to be a blessing.
The funds collected truly do make an impact in the lives of hundreds of students allowing them access to quality education making a life-long impact with huge implications in the developed world. I have seen and experienced this firsthand, thank you for caring and ‘engaging God’s world in the servant way of Jesus’.
