The Falcons Motor Club is comprised of a small group of students and a teacher who share a passion for mechanical things. In addition to hanging out and working in the shop, we also participate in high school drag racing at Mission Raceway. Our main race car is a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 that has been worked on and raced by students since 2015.
Motor Club is about:
· Learning: Develop knowledge and skills around mechanical things, tools, and problem-solving
· Experience: Get hands dirty while being a part of something with a tangible, authentic result
· Community: Connect across grades, with teachers outside of class, and with other people outside of our school community
· Service: Use facilities, time, and knowledge to serve others
