Mrs. Bouwman’s grade 2 class planted tulip bulbs last fall with the anticipation that when they were blooming they would take them to our neighbours, the residents at the Elim Village Retirement Community. This is one of the ways that we practice living our storyline, ‘Who is My Neighbour?’, where our deep hope is that we will know what it is to love our neighbour and to celebrate the diversity of all people in the world. We are immensely grateful to our elder friends who have given so much goodness to this world throughout their years among us. This is our way to say thank you and we love you.
