Ingrid thrives on providing opportunities for our youngest children to explore and create, giving them a strong foundation as they discover a love of learning. She celebrates that each child is a unique gift from God, made in His image. Ingrid was drawn to Surrey Christian School because of the amazing staff and Christ-centred approach to education. Prior to coming to SCS, Ingrid worked for 12 years as director of a preschool, and she also draws from her experiences working in a variety of daycares.
Ingrid is an alum of SCS and is excited to be back! She enjoys reading, being with family, and hosting international students.
Ingrid leads the preschool and out-of-school care programs at Surrey Christian School the Elementary Campus, making sure children are nurtured and growing in line with the school’s mission. She manages everything from classroom activities to staff, keeps parents in the loop, and ensures everything runs smoothly and by the book. Ingrid’s role is all about creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and their families.
