Grace began working at Surrey Christian School in 2022 but has been a part of the community since her daughter started Kindergarten in 2017. She sees evidence of students being ‘fully alive in God’s story’ in every classroom she visits and is honoured to be a part of a team who cares about making a positive contribution to the community. Prior to coming to SCS, Grace spent over 20 years working in Human Resources, where she managed recruitment, health & safety, policy and program development, and training.
Grace is married to her loving husband Tom and has a kind, silly, and gregarious daughter that attends SCS. Together they love camping, hiking, and anything outdoors. They also have 2 cats who keep them on their toes!
As Director of Development, Grace builds and nurtures relationships with families, donors, and the community to help Surrey Christian School grow. She’s all about connecting with people, planning events, supporting enrollment, and is also involved in overseeing marketing efforts, making sure everyone feels part of the school’s mission and vision.
