Our Agile Strategic Plan was developed to ensure that Surrey Christian School continues to thrive as a Christ-centred community dedicated to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and service. Rooted in a legacy of 60 years, this plan builds on our rich history while addressing the evolving needs of our students, staff, and families.
An Agile Strategic Plan is a dynamic and adaptable approach to planning that allows our school to respond to changing circumstances while staying aligned with our mission, vision, and core values. Unlike traditional static plans, an agile approach emphasizes:
- Flexibility: The ability to pivot and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Involving the community, staff, students, and stakeholders in shaping and refining goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing progress and making real-time updates to maximize impact.
- Transparency: Open communication about goals, processes, and outcomes.
Through prayer, collaboration, and reflection, we identified five key priorities: Growth, Staff Retention & Recruitment, Educational Programs, Articulation of Mission & Vision, and Long-Term Financial Stability. These priorities reflect our commitment to educating for wholeness with the knowledge, character, and faith needed to make a positive impact in the world.
