Year-at-a-Glance Calendar
Reminder: New Student Orientation is Wednesday, August 27
Students from all grade levels, including Kindergarten, who will be attending Surrey Christian School for the first time in September 2025, are invited to the New Student Orientation session on Wednesday, August 27. Last year’s SCS Grade 7 students are encouraged to attend as well. This is an opportunity to meet the teachers, have questions answered and relieve some of those first-day jitters.
Secondary Campus Students
Orientation for all new students in Grades 9-12 plus all students in Grade 8 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.
Elementary Campus
• Last names beginning with A-G: 1:00 – 1:15 pm
• Last names beginning with H-N: 1:15 – 1:30 pm
• Last names beginning with O-T: 1:30 – 1:45 pm
• Last names beginning with U-Z: 1:45 – 2:00 pm
New families may find our library of FAQ (Falcons Asking Questions) videos helpful for navigating the school. These can be found on our SCS YouTube playlist here. Please keep checking back for informative videos that are being added to this playlist.
The First Day of School is a half day until 12:00 noon for all K-12 students. Grade 1-12 students who are registered for the school bus will be picked up at school just after noon on Tuesday, September 2, for their trip home.
Back-to-School BBQ | Friday, September 5 from 5:00 – 7:30 pm
All PreK to Grade 12 families are invited to join us at the Elementary Campus for a fun-filled evening to celebrate a new school year. Meet the staff, play games, eat some food and enjoy the festivities with your family, all at no charge!
